Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters:
A surface trough will drift westward into the eastern coastal waters later tonight and remain nearly stationary through the weekend. Weak high pressure will briefly build northwest of the state early next week. A stronger cold front will approach and move into the area Monday night through midweek.
