Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii

Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

High pressure will strengthen north of the area through Sunday. A
cold front will approach from the NW Monday and Tuesday, then
enter the NW waters Wednesday.

.WEDNESDAY...Front enters NW waters late. NW waters, variable 5 to
15 kt, becoming NW 15 to 20 kt. SE waters, E winds 10 to 15 kt
become SE late. Seas 6 to 8 ft building to 8 to 12 ft far NW
waters.
