SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS:
An east to west oriented surface ridge will remain north of the main Hawaiian Islands today. A new surface high will build far north northwest of the aloha state starting tonight. This high will move slowly eastward to a position far north of the islands by this weekend.
