Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters:
A surface high far northeast of the state will move east into early next week. A weak surface trough is expected to form in the vicinity of the islands by Monday. This trough will move slowly west Tuesday and Wednesday as a new surface high builds far north of the region.
