SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS:
The surface ridge that has been over the islands the last several days has begun to shift to the north. As the ridge continues to move northward through Thursday, stronger winds already felt in the Alenuihaha channel and south of the Big Island will expand into other areas.
