Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters:
A surface high will remain nearly stationary far northeast of the islands through the forecast period. A trough will pass east to west over the island chain tonight and Monday. The trough will move west of Kauai by early Tuesday with trade winds strengthening in it's wake.
