EXPOSED TO LARGE WEST NORTHWEST SWELLS.

* WINDS...NORTHEAST WINDS 30 TO 35 KT POSSIBLE SATURDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 25 TO 33 KNOTS
AND/OR SEAS 10 FEET OR GREATER ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE CONDITIONS
HAZARDOUS TO SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY
THOSE OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS...SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN
THESE CONDITIONS.

A GALE WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN THE RISK OF GALE FORCE WINDS OF 34 TO
47 KNOTS HAS SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASED...BUT THE SPECIFIC TIMING

SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS:
A weakening surface ridge will remain north of the state through Friday as a front approaches the islands from the northwest. The front will move down the island chain Saturday and Saturday night. Strong and gusty northeast winds and large rough seas are expected in the fronts wake. High pressure will build in north of the area behind the front.
