...STRONG EAST TO SOUTHEAST WINDS AND LARGE SEAS IMPACTING MOST
COASTAL WATERS...

.A strong high far north northeast of the area and a persistent
surface trough northwest of Kauai will produce strong east to
southeast winds across most of the coastal waters through the
next few days. Winds and seas are expected to build further
during the early to middle part of this week.

Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters:
Strong high pressure far north northeast of the area, along with a nearly stationary surface trough northwest of Kauai, will support fresh to strong east to southeast winds over the coastal waters through the next several days. An upper-level disturbance west of the area will allow for isolated thunderstorms across central and western waters tonight.
