SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS:
At 5 am HST, tropical storm Darby was centered near 19. 8°N 157. 3°W, or about 95 miles south-southeast of Honolulu Hawaii, and was moving west-northwest 08 kt. Elsewhere, a strong pressure gradient between Darby and a high far north of the area will generate fresh to strong northeast winds. High pressure will remain north of the state through the middle of the week.
