SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS:
A ridge over the area will keep light winds across the islands today. The ridge will shift northward and strengthen allowing trade winds to return tonight and into Thursday. The trades will gradually weaken Friday night as the ridge is pushed southward again. A large northwest swell will build late today and persist through Thursday.
