SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS:
A surface ridge about 300 nm north of Kauai will remain nearly stationary through tonight before slowly receding east as a front approaches from the northwest. The weakening front will near the offshore waters north and west Kauai Monday and then push southeast through the state. A stronger high will build northwest of the state Sunday and fill in behind the front as it moves east.
