SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS:
Fresh to strong northerly winds and a large northwest swell will continue to produce rough conditions across the Hawaiian coastal waters into Monday before easing. High pressure northwest of the islands will build southeast with an associated ridge approaching the islands by Tuesday. A weaker front may reach the islands from the north on Wednesday and Thursday before stalling and dissipating. Another large northwest swell is expected late Tuesday night through Thursday.
