SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS:
A surface ridge about 300 nm north of Kauai will remain nearly stationary until Saturday. The ridge will shift east on Saturday and Sunday as a front approaches from the northwest. A stronger high will build northwest of the area Sunday through Tuesday as the front transitions to a shear line, and nears Kauai on Tuesday.
