SYNOPSIS

JUL 29 2016 05:43:00 HST
JUL 30 2016 01:43:00 UTC

SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS:
A strong surface high located far northeast of the islands will move slowly west-northwest through this weekend. A weak surface trough is expected to move from east to west across the area this weekend, leading to a reduction in trade wind speeds. Once this trough passes late Sunday, the strong surface high will remain nearly stationary far north of the region early next week.
