SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS:
A surface ridge will remain north of the state, then weaken later today through Friday as a front approaches the islands from the northwest. The front will move down the island chain Saturday and Saturday night, ushering in strong and gusty northeast winds and large rough seas. A large northwest swell will persist through the day.
