SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS:
A dissipating front just east of the Big Island will weaken as a ridge builds northwest of the islands. Moderate northeasterly winds will return over the weekend. A large, long-period northwest swell will move into the region late Thursday.
