Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters:
A ridge will move over the area from the north today. A front far northwest of the area will move southeast, reaching the Kauai waters Monday night and pushing down over the Big Island waters by Tuesday night. Thunderstorms will be possible ahead of, and along the front. A large northwest swell move over the area starting Tuesday. A new high will build far northwest of the area by the middle of the week.
