AROUND KAUAI AND OAHU EXPOSED TO NORTHWEST SWELL. SEAS SUBSIDING
DURING THE AFTERNOON.

SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS:
A surface ridge about 300 nm north of Kauai will remain nearly stationary through tonight. The ridge will shift slowly to the east during the weekend as a front approaches from the northwest. A stronger high will build northwest of the area Sunday afternoon through Tuesday as the front transitions to a shear line, and nears Kauai on Tuesday.
