TRADES ACROSS THE TYPICALLY WINDY AREAS AROUND MAUI COUNTY AND
THE BIG ISLAND THROUGH THE WEEKEND. A LARGE WEST NORTHWEST SWELL
IS EXPECTED TO SPREAD DOWN THE ISLAND CHAIN TODAY INTO THIS

SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS:
High pressure northeast of the state will strengthen over the next few days, providing locally breezy trade winds through the weekend. Winds will ease slightly early next week as the high moves further from the state. A large west-northwest swell is expected to spread across the waters today, then peak tonight into Sunday.
