Light winds associated with a ridge of high pressure near the islands and a frontal boundary to the northwest will persist through the holiday weekend. Moderate to fresh trade winds will return Sunday night into early next week.

SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS
Light winds associated with a ridge of high pressure near the islands and a frontal boundary to the northwest will persist through the holiday weekend. Moderate to fresh trade winds will return Sunday night into early next week.

TODAY
Southwest winds 10 kt backing south in the afternoon. Wind waves 2 ft or less. Swell northwest 4 ft. Isolated showers in the morning. Haze in the afternoon.

TONIGHT
Northeast winds 10 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less. Swell northwest 4 ft.

FRIDAY
Southeast winds 10 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less. Swell northwest 4 ft. Isolated showers in the afternoon.
