SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS:
Winds will continue to weaken and shift to the south Thursday through Friday as a cold front approaches and moves over the state. The front will reach Kauai by Friday night, then stall and weaken near the Big Island Saturday night into Sunday. Fresh to strong northerly winds will fill in across the area in the wake of the front beginning Friday night, then shift to the northeast by the end of the weekend as high pressure builds northwest of the state.
