...STRONG EAST TO SOUTHEAST WINDS AND LARGE SEAS IMPACTING
MOST COASTAL WATERS...

.A strong high far north northeast of the area and a persistent
surface trough northwest of Kauai will produce strong east to
southeast winds across most of the windward waters and waters
around Maui and the Big Island through the weekend. Winds and
seas are expected to strengthen further next week.

and/or seas 10 feet or greater are expected to produce conditions
