FEB 07 2016 07:51:00 UTC

SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS:
Fresh to strong northerly winds will continue to fill in over the marine areas trailing a cold front that will translate east and southeast across Maui county and the Big Island through the remainder of the night tonight and Sunday. High pressure far northwest of the islands will then build southeast into the upcoming week, with the associated ridge moving near the islands by Tuesday. A weaker front may approach the islands from the north on Wednesday and Thursday before stalling and weakening, when a large northwest swell is also possible.
