HAZARDOUS SEAS...

.HURRICANE IGNACIO WILL TRACK NORTHWESTWARD NORTHEAST OF THE
COASTAL WATERS. A LARGE SWELL FROM IGNACIO WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS
SEAS ACROSS THE WINDWARD WATERS AND CHANNELS. THE SWELL FROM
IGNACIO WILL VEER FROM EASTERLY TO NORTHERLY THROUGH WEDNESDAY. A
NEW LARGE EASTERLY SWELL FROM HURRICANE JIMENA WILL BUILD
TUESDAY...AND POTENTIALLY CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEKEND.

SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS:
Hurricane Ignacio was centered about 230 nm east northeast of Hilo at 11 am HST Monday, moving northwest at 8 knots. Ignacio is forecast to remain northeast of the coastal waters through Wednesday. A weak ridge east of the state will shift westward over the Big Island by the weekend.
