SYNOPSIS FOR HAWAIIAN COASTAL WATERS:
An upper trough will produce heavy showers and a chance for thunderstorms across the area through today. Variable winds will persist early in the forecast period. A brief return of weak trade winds is expected Tuesday followed by variable winds again Wednesday as the next low pressure system approaches.
