Madeline was located near latitude 16.5 North, longitude 163.9 West.
The depression is moving toward the west near 17 mph (28 km/h) and
this motion is expected to continue until dissipation.
 
Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts.
Madeline is expected to become a post-tropical remnant low within
the next 12 to 24 hours.
 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1010 mb (29.83 inches).
