At 1100 AM HST (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Celia
was located near latitude 22.4 North, longitude 142.6 West. The
depression is moving toward the west near 13 mph (20 km/h) and this
motion is expected to continue for the next couple of days.
 
Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
Little change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours and
Celia will likely become a post-tropical remnant low tonight or
early Saturday.  
 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
