AT 500 PM HST...0300 UTC...THE CENTER OF DISSIPATING TROPICAL 
DEPRESSION NEKI WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 30.3 NORTH...LONGITUDE 
164.9 WEST OR ABOUT 665 MILES...NORTH-NORTHWEST OF LIHUE HAWAII 
AND ABOUT 450 MILES NORTH OF FRENCH FRIGATE SHOALS.
 
THE DEPRESSION IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH-NORTHEAST NEAR 36 MPH. 
THE REMNANTS OF NEKI WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE RAPIDLY NORTH-NORTHEAST 
OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.
 
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 35 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS. 
WEAKENING IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE UNTIL DISSIPATION TONIGHT.
