PRESENT MOVEMENT: WNW OR 285 DEGREES AT 16 MPH: 26 KM/H
MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE: 1008 MB or 29.77 INCHES

DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 500 am HST, 1500 UTC, the center of tropical depression Three-C was located near latitude 19.5 north, longitude 179.5 west. The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 16 mph, 26 km/h, and this motion is expected to continue until forecasted dissipation occurs within 48 hours.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph, 55 km/h, with higher gusts. Tropical depression Three-C is forecast to slowly weaken and dissipate within 48 hours.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1008 mb, 29.77 inches.
