At 1100 am HST, 2100 UTC, the center of tropical depression Fernanda was located near latitude 15.4 north, longitude 145.8 west. The depression is moving toward the west near 12 mph, 19 km/h. Fernanda, or its remnant circulation, is expected to continue moving west during the next 48 hours.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph, 55 km/h, with higher gusts. Fernanda expected to become a post tropical remnant low by Saturday.
