The 1979 Central Pacific Tropical Cyclone Season

The 1979 tropical cyclone season was inactive in the Central North Pacific. Since the beginning of the satellite era in 1960 there have only been four other seasons with no organized tropical cyclones reported in the CPHC area, namely the years 1960, 1964, 1969, and 1977.
