For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180W:

1. Poorly organized showers and thunderstorms are associated with a
weak area of low pressure about 600 miles south-southwest of
Honolulu. Some development of this system is possible over the next
several days while it moves slowly toward the west.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 10 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...near 10 percent.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected during the next 5
days.
