TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS CENTRAL PACIFIC HURRICANE CENTER HONOLULU HI
745 PM HST THU OCT 13 2016

For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180:

1. An area of low pressure, located about 1200 miles southwest of
Honolulu, Hawaii, continues to produce disorganized showers and
thunderstorms. Strong upper level winds will likely inhibit
tropical cyclone formation over the next couple of days as it
moves to the west at 15 mph.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent

2. Showers and thunderstorms associated with a poorly organized
area of low pressure is located around 1005 miles south-southwest
of Honolulu, Hawaii. Development, if any, will be slow to occur as
it moves westward near 15 mph during the next couple of days.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Saturday
evening.
