TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS CENTRAL PACIFIC HURRICANE CENTER HONOLULU HI
743 PM HST FRI SEP 23 2016

For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180:

1. An area of disturbed weather located about 595 miles south of
Hilo, Hawaii, is associated with a low pressure trough. Most of
the thunderstorms that had recently been occurring near the
feature have dissipated. No significant development of this
system is expected over the next couple of days as it moves west
near 10 mph.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent

2. A weak area of low pressure is located about 1700 miles east-
southeast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Shower and thunderstorm
activity remains limited, and no significant development of this
area is expected over the next couple of days as it moves west at
5 to 10 mph.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Sunday
evening.
