TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS CENTRAL PACIFIC HURRICANE CENTER HONOLULU HI
759 AM HST SUN SEP 11 2016

For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180:

1. Disorganized thunderstorms persist around a weak surface low
located about 240 miles east-southeast of Hilo, Hawaii.
Upper level winds will become increasingly hostile during the
next couple of days as the system moves slowly to the northwest.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent

2. Thunderstorms have decreased around a poorly defined surface
low embedded within a trough about 820 miles southwest of
Honolulu, Hawaii. Development, if any, would be slow to occur as
the system drifts westward during the next couple of days.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Tuesday
morning.
