TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS CENTRAL PACIFIC HURRICANE CENTER HONOLULU HI
130 AM HST TUE JUL 19 2016

For the Central North Pacific...between 140W and 180:

1. A surface low, the remnant of ex-Tropical Cyclone Celia, is centered
about 200 miles northwest of Honolulu. It is moving west at 10 mph.
Atmospheric conditions are not conducive for tropical cyclone
redevelopment.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.

2. The National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida is issuing
advisories on Hurricane Darby, located about 1325 miles east of
Hilo, Hawaii, under AWIPS header TCPEP5 and WMO header WTPZ35
KNHC. Darby is forecast to continue on a westward track as it
gradually weakens. Darby is expected to cross 140W into the
Central Pacific Hurricane Center's area of responsibility early
Wednesday morning.

Elsewhere...no tropical cyclones are expected through early
Thursday morning.
