TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS CENTRAL PACIFIC HURRICANE CENTER HONOLULU HI
757 PM HST SUN JUL 17 2016

For the Central North Pacific...between 140W and 180:

1. A surface low, the remnant of ex-Tropical Cyclone Celia, was
centered about 400 miles east-northeast of Honolulu. It was moving
west at 10 mph. Atmospheric conditions are not conducive for
tropical cyclone redevelopment.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.

2. The National Hurricane Center in Miami Floria is issuing
advisories on Hurricane Darby, located over 1700 miles east of
Hilo, Hawaii under AWIPS header TCPEP5 and WMO header WTPZ35
KNHC. Darby is expected to move into the Central Pacific Hurricane
Center area of responsibility on Tuesday evening.

Elsewhere...no tropical cyclones are expected through Tuesday
evening.
