TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS CENTRAL PACIFIC HURRICANE CENTER HONOLULU HI
800 PM HST FRI OCT 2 2015

For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. Showers and thunderstorms associated with an area of low pressure located around 600 miles southeast of Honolulu, Hawaii have become better organized today. Environmental conditions support tropical cyclone development, and a tropical depression is likely to form later this evening while the low moves slowly northeastward. The Central Pacific Hurricane Center in Honolulu, Hawaii will likely begin issuing advisories later this evening.

* Formation chance through 48 hours, high, near 100 percent.

2. Showers and thunderstorms associated with an area of low pressure located around 1000 miles southwest of Honolulu, Hawaii have become better organized today. Environmental conditions support tropical cyclone development, and a tropical depression is likely to form by early Saturday morning or through the day Saturday while the low remains nearly stationary.

* Formation chance through 48 hours, high, 90 percent.

3. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms associated with an area of low pressure continue to develop around 1100 miles southeast of Hilo, Hawaii. Environmental conditions support some gradual organization over the next couple of days as it remains nearly stationary.

* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, 10 percent.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Sunday evening.
