TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS CENTRAL PACIFIC HURRICANE CENTER HONOLULU HI
800 PM HST FRI AUG 7 2015

For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. The remains of Guillermo were centered about 160 miles northeast of Kauai, moving northwest near 15 mph. Upper level winds around the system did not favor redevelopment.

* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, 10 percent.

2. The National Hurricane Center in Miami Florida is issuing advisories on hurricane Hilda, located 1150 miles east-southeast of Hilo Hawaii, under AWIPS header tcpep5 and WMO header wtpz35 KNHC. Hilda is expected to cross 140°W into the Central Pacific Hurricane Center area of responsibility this evening.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Sunday evening.
