TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS CENTRAL PACIFIC HURRICANE CENTER HONOLULU HI
200 PM HST FRI AUG 7 2015

For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. The remains of Guillermo are centered about 100 miles northeast of Kauai, moving northwest near 13 mph. Upper level winds associated with the system are unfavorable for redevelopment.

* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, near 0 percent.

2. The National Hurricane Center in Miami Florida is issuing advisories on hurricane Hilda, located 1210 miles east-southeast of Hilo Hawaii, under AWIPS header tcpep5 and WMO header wtpz35 KNHC. Hilda is expected to cross 140°W into the Central Pacific Hurricane Center area of responsibility this evening.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Sunday afternoon.
