TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS CENTRAL PACIFIC HURRICANE CENTER HONOLULU HI
200 AM HST SUN AUG 2 2015

For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. The Central Pacific Hurricane Center in Honolulu, Hawaii is issuing advisories on hurricane Guillermo. At 11 pm HST, Guillermo was located about 925 miles east-southeast of Hilo, Hawaii and moving west-northwest near 14 miles an hour. Guillermo advisories are being issued under AWIPS header TCPCP4 and WMO header WTPA34 PHFO.

* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, near 0 percent.

2. A weak low pressure area, associated with post-tropical cyclone Eight-E, was located about 270 miles south southeast of Hilo, Hawaii. This feature was moving west at 10 to 15 miles an hour. Atmospheric conditions will remain unfavorable for further development over the next couple of days.

* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, near 0 percent.

3. An area of low pressure about 920 miles southwest of Honolulu, Hawaii was moving west northwest at 10 to 15 miles an hour. Showers and isolated thunderstorms associated with this low remain disorganized. Upper level winds are expected to remain unfavorable for tropical cyclone development over the next couple of days.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through late Monday night.
