For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. The National Hurricane Center /nhc/ in Miami Florida is issuing its final advisory on tropical depression Eight-E, located about 1100 miles east of Hilo Hawaii, under AWIPS header tcpep3 and WMO header wtpz33 KNHC. The most recent forecast from NHC has Eight-E soon crossing 140°W into the Central Pacific Hurricane Center /cphc/ area of responsibility. Cphc will be issuing the next bulletin on Eight-E under AWIPS header TCPCP4 and WMO header WTPA34 PHFO later this morning.

2. An area of low pressure located is located about 725 miles south-southeast of Hilo Hawaii. The low is generating only isolated thunderstorms as it heads west at 10 to 15 mph. Vertical wind shear over the system is expected to inhibit development over the next couple of days.

* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, near 0 percent.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through late Friday night.
