TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS CENTRAL PACIFIC HURRICANE CENTER HONOLULU HI
800 PM HST WED JUL 15 2015

For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. The remnant low-level circulation associated with former tropical storm Iune, located more than 1100 miles southwest of Honolulu, Hawaii, has been moving steadily west. The system continues to generate disorganized thunderstorms in its vicinity from time to time. However, environmental conditions will likely impede further development over the next couple of days.

* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, 10 percent.

2. Showers and thunderstorms associated with a weak area of low pressure continue to develop about 675 miles south of Hilo, Hawaii. Very little organization is anticipated over the next couple of days as it slowly drifts west and northwest due to plenty of middle to upper-level dry air surrounding it.

* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, 10 percent.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Friday evening.
