For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. Scattered thunderstorms were forming around an area of weak low pressure about 1140 miles east-southeast of Hilo, Hawaii. Currently upper level winds do not support the development of this feature over the next day or so as it continues to move slowly west.

* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, 10 percent.

2. An area of disturbed weather was located about 815 miles south-southeast of Hilo, Hawaii. Environmental conditions may support some gradual development of this area over the next couple of days while it remains nearly stationary.

* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, 20 percent.

3. Showers and thunderstorms continued to form around a weak low pressure area about 890 miles south-southwest of Honolulu, Hawaii. Conditions will not be conducive for development of this system through Monday morning.

* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, 10 percent.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Monday morning.
