For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. Tropical depression Genevieve has weakened to a post tropical low and is currently located about 525 miles south-southeast of Hilo, Hawaii. Atmospheric conditions are only marginally favorable for redevelopment over the next few days as it moves westward at about 10 mph.

* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, 10 percent.

2. An area of low pressure located about 850 miles southwest of Oahu is producing disorganized showers and isolated thunderstorms. The surrounding environment may permit this system to develop slightly as it moves west at about 10 mph over the next few days.

* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, 20 percent.

3. An area of low pressure located about 1350 miles east-southeast of the Big Island of Hawaii is producing disorganized shower and thunderstorm activity. Upper-level winds are only marginally favorable, and any development of this system should be slow to occur while it moves westward at around 10 mph during the next few days.* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, 10 percent.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Saturday afternoon.
