TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS CENTRAL PACIFIC HURRICANE CENTER HONOLULU HI
200 PM HST MON AUG 11 2014

For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. The Central Pacific Hurricane Center in Honolulu Hawaii is issuing advisories on hurricane Julio, located 455 miles north-northeast of Honolulu Hawaii, under AWIPS header TCPCP4 and WMO header WTPA34 PHFO.

2. A broad area of low pressure has formed about 1500 miles east-southeast of the Hilo, Hawaii. Any development of this system is expected to be slow to occur over the next few days while it moves to the west or west-northwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour.* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, 10 percent.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Wednesday afternoon.
