For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on hurricane Iselle, located more than a thousand miles east of the Hawaiian islands. Iselle is expected to move into the central Pacific hurricane centers area of responsibility Tuesday morning.

2. Tropical depression Genevieve is currently located about 900 miles south southwest of Honolulu, Hawaii. Genevieve is moving westward at about 15 mph. The next advisory for this system will be issued by the Central Pacific Hurricane Center in Honolulu by 5 pm HST this afternoon.

3. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms associated with an area of low pressure are located about 500 miles southeast of Hilo, Hawaii. Upper-level winds are not currently favorable for development of this system, and any development of this system should be slow to occur while it moves westward at around 15 mph.* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, 10 percent.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Tuesday afternoon.
