NWS CENTRAL PACIFIC HURRICANE CENTER HONOLULU HI
200 AM HST TUE JUL 29 2014

For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. The weak remnant low of former tropical depression Genevieve was located about 660 miles southeast of Hilo, Hawaii. The surrounding environment may permit this system to redevelop slightly as it continues to move west near 10 mph during the next couple of days.

* Formation chance through 48 hours, medium, 30 percent.

2. A weak center of low pressure was located about 780 miles south southwest of Oahu. The surrounding environment may permit this system to develop slightly as it continues to move west near 10 mph during the next couple of days.* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, 20 percent.

3. A center of low pressure was located about 1520 miles southwest of Oahu. The convection associated with this feature developed during the past six hours, and the surrounding environment may permit this system to develop further as it continues to move west near 10 mph during the next couple of days.* Formation chance through 48 hours, medium, 30 percent.

4. A weak center of low pressure located about 1050 miles east-southeast of Hilo, Hawaii moved westward at about 10 mph. The surrounding environment may permit this system to develop slightly as it continues to move west near 10 mph during the next couple of days.* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, 10 percent.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through late Wednesday night.
