SPECIAL TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on tropical depression Genevieve, located about 1150 miles east southeast of Hilo, Hawaii. Genevieve is moving westward at about 10 mph, and based on the latest forecast, it is expected to cross longitude 140°W into the area of responsibility of the Central Pacific Hurricane Center tonight.

2. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms continued along an elongated surface trough about 600 miles south of South Point on the Big Island of Hawaii. Environmental conditions appear to be becoming less conducive for development of this system as it continues to move westward at about 15 mph this weekend.

* Formation chance through 48 hours, low, 10 percent.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Monday evening.
