For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on tropical depression Genevieve, located about 1200 miles east-southeast of Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii. Genevieve is moving westward, and based on the latest forecast, it is expected to cross longitude 140°W into the area of responsibility of the Central Pacific Hurricane Center early Sunday morning.

2. A weak low pressure area within a surface trough was about 600 miles south of South Point on the Big Island of Hawaii. Scattered thunderstorms continued to form near the circulation center but remain disorganized. Environmental conditions also appear to be becoming less conducive for development of this system as it continues to move west at just over 15 mph this weekend.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Monday afternoon.
