For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. A weak low pressure system moving westward into the central Pacific is producing an area of thunderstorms about 1100 miles southeast of Hilo Hawaii. Environmental conditions are not conducive for further development, and there is a low chance, near 0 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone within the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through early Friday morning.
