For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

A surface low pressure near the island of lisianski, or about 1000 miles west northwest of Kauai, is nearly stationary. This low will likely produce gale force winds over the next two days, but environmental conditions are not conducive for tropical cyclone development. There is a low chance, near 0 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Tuesday afternoon.
