Tropical Weather Outlook RSS Feed

For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. A weak low pressure circulation, the remnant of Emilia, was centered about 335 miles south of Hilo and moving due west near 17 mph. This system has been void of thunderstorms since early this afternoon. Conditions remain unfavorable for re-development. Thus there is a low chance, near 0 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone within the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Thursday evening.
