For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. Weak low pressure, the remnant of Daniel, is centered about 475 miles south southwest of Lihue and is travelling to the west around 20 mph. Conditions are not favorable for re-development. There is a low chance, near 0 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.

2. The National Hurricane Center in Miami Florida is issuing advisories on tropical storm Emilia, located about 1525 miles east southeast of Hilo, under AWIPS header TCMEP5 and WMO header wtpz35. A weakening Emilia is expected to cross into the Central Pacific Hurricane Center area of responsibility during Sunday afternoon or evening.

Otherwise, no tropical cyclones are expected through Monday morning.
