Tropical Weather Outlook RSS Feed

For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. A small, weak area of low pressure located about 615 miles south of Kona Hawaii was moving west near 10 mph. Associated thunderstorms within this weak system remained very isolated and disorganized. Upper-level winds were only marginally conducive for further development. There is a low chance, near 10 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.

Otherwise, elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Monday afternoon.
