Tropical Weather Outlook RSS Feed

For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. A small, but persistent area of thunderstorms associated with a weak low about 825 miles southeast of Hilo Hawaii, is showing little sign of strengthening as it moves westward around 12 mph. There is a low chance, near 0 percent, of this system developing into a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Thursday afternoon.
