Tropical Weather Outlook RSS Feed

For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. The center of former tropical cyclone Fernanda was located about 340 miles south southwest of Hilo, Hawaii. Isolated thunderstorms still continued intermittently along the north edge of the system, but this activity ceased for extended periods between active pulses. This feature consisted mostly of low, stable clouds. There is a low chance, near 0 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Tuesday evening.
