For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. The center of former tropical cyclone Fernanda was located about 300 miles southeast of Hilo, Hawaii. Deep convection continued intermittently, but active pulses alternated with periods of total dissipation. Strong winds in the upper atmosphere over the feature remained unfavorable for any significant regeneration of this system, which moved westward at about 10 mph. There is a low chance, near 0 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through late Monday night.
