Tropical Weather Outlook RSS Feed

For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. The center of former tropical cyclone Fernanda is located about 350 miles southeast of Hilo, Hawaii. Deep convection has diminished over the past several hours with just a low cloud swirl evident in visible and IR imagery. Strong upper level winds remain unfavorable for any significant regeneration of this system, which is moving westward at about 10 mph. There is low chance, near 0 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone again during the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Monday afternoon.
