For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. Showers and isolated thunderstorms associated with the remnants of former tropical cyclone Fernanda are located about 500 miles east southeast Hilo, Hawaii. Strong upper level winds remain unfavorable for any significant regeneration of this system, which is moving westward at about 10 mph. There is low chance, near 0 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone again during the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through late Sunday night.
