For the central north Pacific, between 140°W and 180.

1. The Central Pacific Hurricane Center in Honolulu, Hawaii issued the final advisory on former tropical cyclone Fernanda at 500 pm HST this afternoon. The remnants of Fernanda are now located about 580 miles east southeast Hilo, Hawaii. Strong upper level winds remain unfavorable for any significant development of this system, which is moving westward at about 10 mph. There is low chance, near 0 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone again during the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Sunday evening.
